Topic: Activating divine help in times of need 

Text: Psalm 146:5
“Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.”

 
Praise God, Hallelujah to Jesus. Amen 
As children of God In this world, we know that we need the help of God in our lives everyday. The devil and his demons want us to beg, suffer and die but Jesus has come that we may have life and have it abundantly, amen.

We are divinely helped by God in this world. When we depend on God totally, we become marvelously helped by him. 
The bible says in Psalm 121 verses 1 and 2, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

The problem with many Christians is that instead of seeking help from GOD, they seek and rely on men for their help. Not that the help from men is not important, but you must define who you depend on and who you trust to help you in times of need.  
It is futile to seek  help from men, the bible says the arm of flesh will fail. 

Psalm146:3 put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.

Also Psalms 60:11 – “Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man”

When GOD decides to help a man, no other oppositions could be taken into
account. 

To access divine help, we must first have a personal and consistent relationship with GOD and consciously strive to live a life of righteousness. We must trust and approach GOD in prayer in total dependency on Him. It is our total dependence on GOD that proves to HIM that we need and deserve HIS divine help. Understanding that our help comes from God gives us a consciousness of sonship, that God is always with us and for us. So when we pray, we pray in this consciousness, we pray in the understanding that our God will help us and this is the confidence we have that when we pray asking for anything, it shall be done. 

I pray over you, that divine help locate you and every difficult situation in your life in the name of Jesus.
