Topic: Enjoying supernatural favour

Text: Psalm 5:12
“For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.”

Enjoying supernatural favour means finding or experiencing pleasure from a show of preferential treatment which is beyond explanation by natural laws. Favour is available to every child of God – Psalm 5:12. The favour of God causes people to go out of their way to bless you without knowing why.

When God’s supernatural favour is manifested on your behalf, it opens doors and opportunities to you that can’t be humanly explained. As a child of God, you must understand that there is a special kind of favour reserved for you. It opens supernatural doors of opportunity for you and causes people to do things they ordinarily may not have done for you.

This was what Daniel and his companions experienced when they insisted they wouldn’t eat the king’s food; they asked to be given vegetables and water instead. Normally, the superintendent should have refused them that request, but God caused him to favour the young men, and therefore he granted their request. Also, the Bible shows us how Esther found favour before the king when she sought his audience at a very critical moment (Esther 4:11). That was divine favour at work.

Now, understand that God has also granted you supernatural favour, it becomes your reality when you understand it and start to walk in it. To enjoy supernatural favour, you must embrace it and determine to live by it. When you do, it shows up in your prayer, in your declaration, in your confession and in your attitude. You already know that you’re favoured by God and His blessings are upon you just live it!

If you make these your constant proclamations and lifestyle, it won’t be long before you have people saying to you, “I don’t know why I’m doing this for you, but I will anyway.” That’s the realm of supernatural favour! Child of God if you are not enjoying this aspect of the blessing you must determine to start today, speak to your father in heaven and ask him to release this special grace for supernatural favour over your life and watch amazing things begin to unfold. I tell you, your life will never remain the same again.
