Topic: God’s remedy for troubling times

Text: Isaiah 40:29-31(NIV)
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Blessed people of God, welcome to a new month of blessings and joy. We bless God for life and peace, amen.
As believers, we know that sometimes in life we go through challenges, ups and downs, trials and tribulations. But if you look deeply, some of the most impactful spiritual lessons are learned when we face challenging and difficult times.
It is in those times that God gives us grace, strength and renewed hope. And I believe it is this power that energizes us to keep going, hallelujah. Remember the scriptures says all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to his purpose, amen.

When we love and serve God, it is natural to  be on fire for him and do great things in the kingdom but then, at the first sign of trouble, for most of us, our faith often trembles, our focus gets diverted, and the issues we face start to overtake us.
This is the reality of many believers, but many struggle in this realm because they do not know God’s remedy for trials and difficulty and it makes all the difference. These simple truth-filled lessons will change your perspective of the problems you may be facing and help you to pray right during trying times.

You Are Never Alone

God has said in his word “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. (Hebrews 13:5)
But inasmuch as God has promised to never leave us, it also behooves on us to seek him in times of trouble. When we learn to seek God instead of running helter skelter, we will always find him and find peace, rest and solutions. Amen
Scriptures say He is a very present help in time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). As a child of God, you must know that God completely understands our prayers of desperation, our cries for relief. He hears, and He feels compassion towards us—”for we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses” (Hebrews 4:15). God is always with us and for us, he understands what we are going through and he always makes a way of escape for us, because he is ABBA Father.

Don’t forget God’s word

When David faced trials after his camp had been raided at Ziklag, the bible says he encouraged himself in the lord. What that means is that he reminded himself of God’s word, his promises and his faithfulness from previous times.
God never leaves us, but sometimes we forget and start to ask why have you abandoned me. God never abandons us, if you hold his word close to your heart you will see his faithfulness, love and kindness and the strength of God’s word will see you through. God’s word keeps your focus on him and not on the situation. “Looking until Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.”

I pray that we are people who fight against every difficulty with the God-given gift of remembering.

Gratitude

It has been said over and over that to be thankful is to be grateful, and to be grateful is to be happy. The bible says “All the days of the afflicted are bad, but a cheerful heart has a continual feast” Proverbs 15:15 (NASB).
Being negative and sad all the time is a sign that you are not grateful, but being grateful makes you joyful and filled with hope.

Speak God’s word continually

When we go through trying times we must speak God’s word into the situation. As a child of God, you must avoid confessing negative things and speak faith at all times. Remember your previous victories and believe that this one will be no different.
Remember, we overcome “by the blood of the Lamb and the word of [our] testimony” Hold on. Stay steady. Don’t quit. God is for you. May you find His grace to help in your time of trouble (Hebrews 4:16).
May you experience God granting you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner man (Ephesians 3:16) in Jesus name. Stay blessed and stay lifted, God bless you!

Amen!
