Topic: Keys to Supernatural Recovery 6
Text: 1 Samuel 30:8
“And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? AND HE ANSWERED HIM, PURSUE: FOR THOU SHALL SURELY OVERTAKE THEM, AND WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL.”
Glory to God for this new day that God has made. We rejoice and are glad in it.
For over a week now, we have been studying diverse keys to Supernatural Recovery. Today, we will study the 6th Key.
6. PURSUE – If you want to recover what the enemy stole from you or what you lost then it is imperative that you pursue after what was yours especially when you have heard from the Lord.
This text above was not the first time David was losing something of his but like the experience in our text, he pursued after the lion and another time the deer and retrieved the sheep from them. Friends, there can be no recovery without pursuit. You are resigning to fate too quickly. Stand up and pursue after the blessing of God or divine opportunities that God has given to you and take it back.
How to pursue
1. Seek God’s mind, consent, and approval
2. Ask God how to go about the pursuit
3. Actually pursue – your pursuit might be to get another job then do so. Yours might be to go to school and upgrade yourself then do so. Your pursuit might be to read more extensively, then by all means do so. There are people who are long overdue to recover their miracles, breakthroughs etc but they are not pursuing. If you don’t pursue, you won’t recover anything. It’s that simple.
David didn’t just sit down, he pursued after His family and property abductors and recovered his family and properties. In another case, he pursued the lion and reclaimed the sheep(1 Samuel 17:34-36). What are you pursuing after to recover? The choice is yours. I pray for you today
1. That as you pursue, you will recover in Jesus’ name!
2. God is restoring all the wasted years in Jesus’ name!
Somebody shout a loud AMEN!!!
I will pursue and recover all without fail
Amen
