Topic: Sacrificial Praise – key to restoration
Text: Acts 16:25-26 “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bands were loosed.”
Praise is acknowledging God for who He is irrespective of how you feel. A prison is never a convenient place for anyone to be, but Paul and Silas sang and praised God in the midst of their pain and immediately God showed up for them.
Your praise is your key out of penury into plenty, out of sickness into health, and out of smallness into greatness. The Lord inhabits the praises of His people. (Ps. 22:3)
It will interest us to know that praise is a weapon in our hands which is very effective in humiliating the devil. It is God’s medicine against the enemy who seats on your inheritance. Every time we obey the law of praise, we silence and perplex our adversaries. Praise is a winning missile anytime, anywhere.
Joel 2:26 says ” And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.”
Shame has ended in your life today! All the years, money, relationship, peace, joy, health, fruitfulness, etc the enemy stolen from you, God will restore because this is your time of restoration in Jesus name!
In John 11:41-44, the Bible says ” Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, lose him, and let him go.”
In the above scripture, Lazarus died and the first thing Jesus did when He got to the tomb of Lazarus was to give thanks to God. Jesus gave thanks and the dead Lazarus came back to life and came out of the tomb.
Lazarus was still in the grave when Jesus gave thanks. Therefore, if you praise God in anticipation of what you want Him to do for you, a miracle is bound to happen.
Your praise will bring a total restoration of everything you lost.
God does all manner of wonder on the platform of praise. If you have tried all yet nothing seems to happen, switch to heartfelt praise.
What makes praise sacrificial is praising in the midst of pains and trouble when things are not working. Look at that area of your life that you desire restoration and praise God with all your heart and you will testify in the name of Jesus the Christ! Amen!
Somebody shout a loud Amen!!!
